Anarky
![]() |
A quasi-hero/villain, Anarky is much like Catwoman from the animated series: trying to do good in his own book, never mind the rules. Of course, loving anarchy as he does, he often runs afoul of the law and the Batman. The teen has been caught and unmasked on several occasions, much to his parents' chagrin and disgust.

Anarky is made from a Hunchback of ND figure (the evil scholar-priest). The face and neck were covered with Sculpey and built all the way from the shoulders to the top of the hat as one piece. After boiling the Sculpey until it cured, I carved out a small section and then cut the face off of a Silver Surfer figure. I took that face and superglued it to the carved out section. The hat brim is an index card with Elmer's glue to stiffen it a bit more. The robe was removed from the original figure and I sewed another one for Anarky. The figure was too short, however, so I used the legs from another of the same figures and connected them with a piece of wire and superglue. The Robin figure in the background is there to demonstrate the height that the Anarky figure has -- since Anarky uses stilts or some such to help make himself feel bigger (and more grown up?). I like this version of the figure's face and hat much better than what I had originally made. |
