Scarecrow

Spotted in the dark as usual, the Scarecrow loves to experiment with human fear. |

While I actually seem to be one of the few who liked the look of the original Scarecrow (and Kenner didn't do a bad job with that action figure), after seeing this version at Iron Cow's website, i just couldn't resist. The flash on the camera made his face look lighter than it really is -- especially the areas that appear white on this picture -- they're really a more dull grey. (And that makes him look a little more menacing and less happy -- I definitely need to take another picture when I add his hair.) |
The recipe is from Iron Cow Productions; the bad sculpting is my own. The body is the Creeper, the head is Machine Gun Joker, the overcoat is Bruce Wayne's. The arms were extended with Sculpey and made into the edges of his coat. The "suit" portion of the Bruce Wayne overcoat has been smoothed over with Sculpey and the noose-tie is also Sculpey. The face was also made from Sculpey. When I was all done with him I realized that I had forgotten his hair. Since his head fell off when I was taking this picture (that leaning is from the stand, not the figure), I'll just have to sculpt him some hair next and update this picture later. |
