Dick Grayson is now Officer Grayson, a member of the Bludhaven police force. After leaving Gotham and taking up residence in his own city, Nightwing (Dick's alter ego), began fighting the criminal element there. However, he soon realized that there was just too much corruption within the police force for him to accomplish much on his own.

Having no Jim Gordon to help him, no sidekick, no help at all, Dick decided to do something that would horrify his mentor: join the force and fight crime night and day.

Dick is made from a Cadillacs and Dinosaurs Jack Tenrec. I filled the center of the jacket in with Sculpey, added a tie, close the collar up a little and added shirt sleeves. I sliced the hunting knife off Jack's leg, cut and then resculpted one pouch into a holster and then added some Sculpey to his legs to make pant legs. Most of this was simply paint. The head looked much like Dick and the body of the figure needed very little work -- it even had the shirt pockets just as I wanted them. The most difficult part was painting the badge and patches on his shirt.
