Oracle

Once known as the Batgirl, Barbara Gordon was shot by the Joker and confined to a wheelchair. Now known as the computer whiz, Oracle, she helps the Batman, Robin, Black Canary and others fight crime through all her computer systems and hacking ability.

Based on a graphic of Oracle from Kryptcom's DC Universe website, this is my recolored version of Oracle.

"If you want to try changing the images, feel free to do so, although I would appreciate a mention if you do use them on another site."

He has some amazing artwork of the animated DC Universe.

Oracle was made from a Mulan figure with some judicious sanding of the "karate" outfit she had on. Then, I chopped her hands off (they wouldn't hold the push-bar on the wheelchair) and fitted her out with some new ones from a random small figure. I think it was a Ken from a McDonald's happy meal. I used some Sculpy on her hair to give her some body and put some plastic into the hip joint so her legs weren't so spread apart when she was sitting.

The 'chair is made from a piece of foam and some light gauge aluminum wire. The wheels are from a mini-BMX finger bike. The axle is another piece of wire which is threaded through a piece of TMNT belt sewn to the bottom of the foam seat. The "nut" keeping her wheels bolted to the chair are pieces of pencil eraser. :)

The glasses in the top picture are made from wire and the laptop there is a few pieces of plastic from the bottom of the ubiquitous Robin sled.

I am SO happy to add her to my stable of DC characters and I'm sure she's one that Kenner would never make!

She does wear this Batman tanktop in the comics occasionally and I was completely taken by it the first time I saw it and knew that was what I wanted her to wear as an action figure. :)
