Elseworlds:

It's 1961 and there's a pair of vigilantes loose in Gotham City: the Batgirl and Robin. It's up to Officer Bruce Wayne and Commissioner Gordon to get this pair off the streets.

Robin is made from an SMOS Superboy figure with a Robin head. All of the extraneous details were sanded off of the Superboy body. Glove flares were added with Sculpey. I also added a few locks of hair with Sculpey.

Other than that, this was just a very meticulous paint job. All details were painted freehand -- the arrows on his sleeves were a bit of a pain at first.

I decided to leave the lapels of Superboy's jacket even though the Thrillkiller comic has Robin in more of a letter-jacket type coat. It just seemed to fit even though it made his R symbol more of a pain to paint. All in all, this one was really fun and came out quite well.
